Once you have got yourself into the city centre you may think that you are completely fine. Perhaps you decided not to hire a car at the airport because of the cost, or you had a specific time to get to your hotel so didn’t have time to wait for the hire car, or perhaps it just hadn’t crossed your mind to hire a car when you arrive at Liverpool airport - automatically deciding to use the public transport system that is more than adequate to get you from the airport to Liverpool city centre. Of course, it is not essential that you hire a car - it is not out of the realm of possibility that you will be able to navigate yourself around Liverpool without the use of a car - using buses or trains or good, old fashioned, walking. This seems the best option but only on the outset.
If it rains, for example, the last thing you want to be doing is stood outside, but without a car you have no other option. Similarly, after a few days of continuous walking you are not going to want to do any more because you will be too tired and your body will be making you pay. You can still hire a car once in Liverpool city centre and, without a doubt, this must be done. You will be able to get much more out of your holiday if you are able to drive to the attractions instead of having to walk and your holiday will benefit from it. You don’t have to use the car, but at least the option is there.
