I’m Moving Back to Liverpool This Summer

While it seemed like it was never going to get here, the end of this university semester is not far away at all. It’s funny, because even though I will have already completed four semesters at university once this one comes to an end, it honestly doesn’t seem like I have already been in university for two full years. Although I have been seen them over the course of the last year, I will be spending my summer living with my parents.

While many people cringe at the thought of living with their parents, this is the only time of the year that I really get to see them, so I actually enjoy it. I may have given you the idea that my university semester is completely over, but as you may have guessed, I do have all of my final examinations to take. Even though I was very worried about my final examinations last semester (for the record, I ended up doing well), I am really confident that I’m not going to encounter any problems during the ones at the end of this semester. Since I am so confident, I have already set up a summer reward for myself to celebrate my success this semester. In conjunction with my buddy, after moving back to Liverpool, the two of us will be picking up a car hire in Liverpool that is reserved in my name. Our purpose in reserving a car hire in Liverpool is to use it for a week to take a road trip that we have planned out. Although it has been a year since we have seen each other, the two of us have been friends since we were little kids, so I know we are going to have a great road trip together.

This Flu Virus Isn’t Going to Mess Up My Trip to Liverpool

Since it has been the main focus of bloggers, newspapers and the television media for the last month or so, you have undoubtedly heard about the swine flu virus that began in Mexico and is spreading around the world. When the swine flu virus started appearing in Mexico, it killed a significant amount of people (many of who were previously healthy young adults). Even though people are still worried about the fact that the H1N1 virus continues to spread, it has not caused the same level of deaths that it did in Mexico anywhere else in the world. I brought this issue up because it is hard for me to figure out why people continue to be extremely worried about swine flu when it is proving to be much less serious than initially believed. In spite of the fact that I think this continued worrying is unjustified, countries throughout the world are continuing to respond in a fairly serious manner.

Even though it doesn’t seem like the concerns over the H1N1 virus are going anywhere soon, I am still planning on taking a vacation this summer. I have a trip to Liverpool planned for the end of July, and in spite of all the worries that people around the world are having, I will definitely be going there and having a great time. In addition to booking my flight and hotel room, I have already reserved a car hire Liverpool, so there’s no way I am going through the process of canceling all of those reservations. The one reason that I don’t think I will actually have to worry about canceling my trip is because by the time it actually arrives, I bet the news media will have something new to make people worry about more than swine flu!
